Unicom's CDMA to have 70% utilisation rate in 1st year

The utilisation rate of the CDMA network China Unicom (0762) leased from its parent will reach 70% in the first year of operation. The capacity of the CDMA network to lease from the parent next year will be 9 million subscribers. The number of clients in the first year is expected to be 7 million. Some of the existing subscribers of the company will shift to use the CDMA network, the proportion of low-usage clients of the GSM network will increase and the ARPU will inevitably drop.
