Power generation of Huaneng Power up 22% in first 3 quarters

Huaneng Power International (0902) announced its power generation in the first three quarters this year. Based on the preliminary statistics as at September 30, the company's total power generation was 41.12 billion KWh, an increase of 22% over the same period of last year, representing 76.4% of the planned annual generation for the year 2001 and 1.6% ahead of the calender schedule.
