SCMP declines comment on retail business withdrawal reports

SCMP (Holdings) (0583) declined to comment on reports that the company is planning to withdraw from the retail business. Local newspaper reports said SCMP is planning to withdraw from the retail business given the local economic downturn and is trying to sell its retail assets, including the Health Plus and Daily Stop chain stores.
