Construction Bank yet to make bid for Jian Sing Bank

China Construction Bank has not yet made a bid for Dah Sing Financial Holdings' (0440) stake in Jian Sing Bank Ltd., said President Wang Xuebing. He, meantime, said the Chinese bank will consolidate its businesses in Hong Kong. Last week, Dah Sing said one of its units was in talks for the disposal of its remaining 30 percent interest in Jian Sing Bank Ltd. Construction Bank of China holds the another 70 percent stake.
