Johnson Electric sees H1 sales down 6 pct year-on-year

Johnson Electric Holdings Ltd (0179) said it is expecting its six months to September sales to decline by about 6 pct year-on-year, based on preliminary sales data. In a statement, the company said the impact on its profits has not been determined. It said that in the past six months, it has seen a softening of demand across nearly all of its product application segments due to the economic slowdown in both North America and Europe.
